Our 4-Step Wedding Floral Process

Start by filling out our quick wedding inquiry form to share your date, venue, and a few initial ideas. It’s totally okay if you don’t have all the details yet — we’ll talk through everything together and help you shape your vision.

Complimentary consultation

We’ll schedule a time to connect either on a call or in person at our studio in Ocean Township to talk through your vision, budget, and floral needs.

Custom proposal

Based on our conversation, we’ll create a personalized proposal with inspiration images, floral suggestions, and clear pricing. You’ll be able to review, make edits, and ask questions.

Book

Once you’re ready, we’ll secure your date with a deposit and take it from there! We stay in touch throughout the process and are always available for updates, adjustments, or dreaming up new ideas.

Do you have a minimum spend requirement?

Nope! We believe everyone deserves beautiful flowers on their wedding day — no matter the size of the budget. Whether you’re eloping or planning a full weekend celebration, we’ll work with you to design florals that fit your vision and your price point.

What’s the booking process like?

It starts with our quick wedding inquiry form. From there, we’ll schedule a complimentary consultation — either in person at our flower shop in Ocean Township, NJ (3316 Sunset Ave. - right outside of Asbury Park) or a phone call. We’ll talk about your style, date, and vision, then follow up with a custom proposal.

How much is the deposit, and do you offer payment plans?

We typically ask for a 50% deposit to officially reserve your date. We totally understand weddings can be expensive, so we’re happy to discuss flexible payment plans or adjusted timelines to help ease the financial stress.

What happens after we book?

Once you’re on our calendar, we’re here for you every step of the way. Whether it’s six months or six weeks out, you can email, call, or text with updates or questions anytime.

Can I visit your flower shop before booking?

Yes! We love welcoming future brides into our space. Visit us at Fleur de Mer, 3316 Sunset Ave. in Ocean Township, NJ — or set up a virtual consult if you’re not local.

Do you offer wedding installations like arches or floral backdrops?

Definitely. We design floral arches, aisle markers, ceremony arrangements, hanging pieces, and custom backdrops. We’ll collaborate with you to create something special that suits your space and style.

Where do your flowers come from?

We source premium blooms from trusted wholesalers who import from Ecuador, Holland, and beyond. During spring and summer, we also partner with local flower farms in New Jersey to keep things fresh, seasonal, and sustainable.

Are you an eco-friendly wedding florist?

We aim to use eco-conscious materials like reusable mechanics and foam-free techniques whenever possible. If you’re hoping for a fully eco-friendly wedding, let us know — we’re happy to tailor our methods to meet your values.

Do you work with couples outside of New Jersey?

Yes! While we’re based in Ocean Township, NJ and love serving the Jersey Shore and Monmouth County, we’re happy to travel for weddings throughout the tri-state area and beyond.
